Tell Me Thursday for 6/4/09

Welcome back!  Not to drop names or anything, but did you hear? We were mentioned at Wordless Wednesday this week!  Just sayin’…

We ARE SO EXCITED! The contest is in full swing and the entries are POURING in! Ok, not really… but that’s because ya’ll don’t know how easy it is to make a great video for our contest. And that’s what our show is all about today! We want YOU to try video so you’ll be addicted like we are. And we’re glad to help!

We’ve got a quick show for you because we want you to watch some of our samples below – so take a quick listen …

… and here are some samples of videos made without a video camera:

1. Chele made a great video over at Slide.com. Took only a few minutes and I think you’ll agree – it gets the point across quite well:

2. It’s easy to make a video using Powepoint or Keynote for Mac. Just type, use the tools to “glitz” it up a bit and export it when you’re ready to upload to your favorite video sharing website. This is one done with Keynote without the audio:

3. Our new favorite addiction is Animoto.com where you can make 30 second slide shows using your photos and text very quickly – love it love it love it. Upgrade to make longer videos too!

4. Of course you can also use your webcam if you have one as both Melitsa and Kelly have already done for the contest – thanks ladies for being our first entries!

5. And then, naturally, you can use your old clunky full sized video cam or borrow one from a neighbor too. But we think all the above options are so much easier!
